How do I install my new hardrive for my computer?

Hi, I have a Dell XPS 400 desktop comp, I currently have 200 GB hardrive and I'm up 14GB left, so I bought a 250 GB SATA hardrive, but how the hell do I install it! is there any way possible to have both connected or hardrive I have to transfer files to my new 250 GB hardrive, please help me or refer me to a site with instructions, thanks
