Dell XPS 410 setup disk!?

I just bought a WD 1TB SATA internal hard drive. I want to install on my XPS 410 as a second unit. But when I plug in, the computer can not detect the new drive. nothing appeared. I opened the case and look at the circuit board, the original HD and connects to the slot blue indicates that it is master and slave other three slots are black indicating. Then I connect the new HD as slave. Do not bother with the jumper on the back. However, I am not able to detect the new hard drive. I updated my bios to latest version. I just do not understand why. Can anyone help me with this? my computer support internal SATA drive 1 TB per disc? thank you for your reply. but the SATA drivers are only for the HD drive that comes with the computer. they have a driver for my new HD (1TB WD), and I'm trying to go to disk management and format it, the problem is, I can not even see the floppy disk management.

For the computer to see the new hard drive will be necessary to process the SATA / Drive in the BIOS. To enter the BIOS press the F2 key when the first league system (the screen of Dell). Once you enter the BIOS you have to press the down arrow to "Drives" and press Enter. Go to the port you have installed on drive less, and change the option to "Off" to "On". Since the unit was activated exit the BIOS by pressing the ESC key and then choose "save settings and exit." Another thing is that when the unit was turned you should be able to see the details of the drive in the BIOS (capacity etc). If this information is not listed here could not be another problem. First I would check the power cables and connections and then if that fails, try switching the drive to another SATA port. Make sure you have the computer off trying to change the cables, move, or ports. When Windows starts up it should find the new hard drive, and you will be able to format it. I hope this helps. Note the one hand you must also update the chipset to the latest version. If you have any questions, please let me know.
