Dell Xps 410 Memory Upgrade

The better is the NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX + in comparison with the GeForce 7900 GS?

I'm thinking of upgrading my video card in my computer current from a NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS with a NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX +. I was curious how much of a performance increase that I see on my computer. I buying a video card better than the NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX + but I also have to buy a new power supply because my job is only 375W. So with my budget I can not afford much more than 150 graphics card whereas I have to spend about 100-150 on a new power supply too. Overall, though I just want to make sure the purchase will be worth it. I'm also considering replacing the PC completely, but I just go that route, if the performance can be improved by $ 300 to improve (ie, the graphics card and PSU). Specs on my PC (Dell XPS 410): CPU = Dual Core Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, 2400 MHz Video Card = NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS (256 MB) OS = Microsoft Windows XP Memory = 4 GB DDR2 PC2-5300

In a 9800 you have as to 3X performance 7900GS but your PC will only be better in games and things that need huge amount of graphics performance in all other applications that you will not see no change. And a power supply over 100 is very expensive, very expensive!
