Dell Xps 420 Psu Upgrade
can the Dell 425 watt PSU thats comes with the XPS 430 handle a ATI 4850?
I recently ordered an XPS 420 which comes with a 9800 GT, but for my wonder Dell has advised me that the XPS420 is no longer available and that they had "upgrade" to me the XPS 430, which only comes with an ATI 4670. I would whether the possibility of expanding the ati 4850 the supply of shares. thanks! I have read in some forums that dell as their power supplies differently to other psu, which means that when others are in the PSU measure of peak power they are only able to maintain peak power for periods short time. Whereas the Dell PSU are classified according to rankings maintained means that they can keep the power quoted by prolonged time. this is correct and if so what is the relevance of the recommended power supply for graphics cards. thanks! btw something I forgot to mention was that Dell will come with a 425 watt
you may be able to run it with the power supply of shares. You'll soon see if it is not up to the task, because there is so underpowered it will run irregularly.
