Dell Xps 420 Psu

I had never connected to a power source. I need help?

Ok so my PSU is 370 W and has a new 500w. Im only going to add Blue ray and 9800 GTX +. Im positive its compatible with my XPS 420 he says it is. I need to know how to change it. I know it is not difficult, but I'm just being more cautious. What are some things I should know and how do I change it? 4 screws hold it to the case of metal u just unscrew that I can take it out, it will have wires connected to your motherboard and hard drive and DVD drive as well. There must be a really fat wire goes on your motherboard a small wire right next to it. thats pretty much all u got to remove. install it is the same, but reverse the order.
