Does the EVGA 9800 GTX + 512MB running on a 550W?

Does the EVGA 9800 GTX + 512MB running on a 550W? Will Power 550W entire computer and card graphics or I need a strong PSU? the card requires a minimum of 450W, but the only reason I'm asking is because my previous card was a PNY 9800GTX +, which also requires 450W, but I could not run it, my computer monitor and kept off. I got a refund of the card and now I'm thinking to buy EVGA can run it. Specifications are Dell XPS 420 Corsair PSU 550W Windows Vista 3G RAM 2.40 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

Corsair 550W can run an X2 4870 no problem. You can easily run a 9800 + on a good 550W PSU or even 2.
