The batteries are essential in today's world of all things high-tech and portable. So what is the best way to use and disposal of batteries?

Battery Use
Before inserting a battery in any electronic device, use a cloth or rubber to clean the ends of the battery and the compartment.

Next, make sure the batteries are placed correctly in the magazine. The (+) and (-) terminals should be aligned correctly. To extend battery life, always turn off electronics when they are not in use.

For rechargeable devices, such as laptops, mobile phones and digital cameras, the cycle of the battery to ensure top performance. Oxyride batteries usually last longer than alkaline batteries, but are also a little more expensive. "High-drain" alkalines are available in most supermarkets for devices that use a lot of battery power, like digital cameras.

The Bad. NiCad rechargeable alkaline and lithium. NiCad batteries are considered obsolete and were replaced by NiMH batteries non-toxic, which last longer. disposable alkaline batteries can be recharged as often as regular rechargeable batteries, and they work well in high-speed devices. Lithium batteries are marketed as the batteries of the gods, because for a long time, but can not be recharged and contain toxic materials.

The rechargeable battery. Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) have replaced NiCad because they lost more time. Rechargeable batteries are a good option for devices that are used often as remote controls. Battery Disposal
Most batteries be disposed of in recycling centers. These include AA, AAA batteries, cell phone, laptop batteries, the recycling centers, etc. have the means to eliminate these batteries in a way that will not leak toxic chemicals into the environment. Other batteries have a recycling center for waste or button cells, lithium or lithium ion battery, Ni-Cd, Ni-Li/Ni-hydride, batteries, sealed lead-acid batteries and silver oxide. Oxyride or alkaline batteries can be removed with a of household waste.
