Installiing Windows XP Pro on a Dell XPS M1210 running Win Home?

I have a Dell XPS M1210 I bought in 2006 and want to upgrade from Win Home to Pro because I need IIS. I have the original Win Pro CD that I bought in 2002. When I try to boot from CD pro win I get a blue screen that says something about a BIOS upgrade. I did the update, but again I have the same blue screen. Please someone tell me why this is happening and how can I fix it. Or any clues on how to install IIS on Win home

If you are unsure about which devices are supported, consider removing all devices during the installation (except those needed for operating the system, such as motherboard, video card, memory, and so on) and then reconnecting them after Windows is installed.
