Dell Xps Brightness Problem
Dell XPS M1330 Laptop Screen Brightness Problem …?
I have the brightness set to 100% when plugged in and when on battery, when connected, of course, but when I turn it off is very low .. using Fn + Up / Down can I change the Brigtness between two very similar settings. I was told, eventually, change the brightness through the BIOS would work. but I have recently observed this laptop is not the screen, load up, you press F2 (for some laptops) to get BIOS, and you do it? any tips? It's becoming very annoying.
What BIOS revision do you have? According to a thread in XPS forum.notebookreview.com the forum, there may be a problem with the drivers before the BIOS A15 (download here: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c = Us & cs = 555 & l = en & s = biz & releaseid = R207196 & SystemID = XPS_M1330 & servicetag = & os = WLH & osl = en & deviceid = 14178 & devlib = 0 & typecnt = 0 & vercnt = 9 & catid =- 1 & impid =- 1 & formatcnt = 1 & libid = 1 & fileid = 290116). When you start, black screen that says Dell and has a growing line, he will tell you what you have to review. Once upgraded, there is no definition BIOS for brightness. I tried pressing DEL, F1 and F2, one of them got me into BIOS, I think it was DEL … just try a few keys;) But really, you must be wondering in an appropriate forum and not on Yahoo Answers, since it may require some follow-up to this question.
