Dell Xps Charger Not Working
My computer will not charge?
For some reason, as of yesterday, my computer does not load. I have to plug in and work when the plug is We tried to change back into the settings to find out and nothing is working. Check the battery gauge, removing the battery system, then pressing and holding the status button. If you see an error code flashing (LED 1-3-5) you will need to contact Dell. If the machine is still under warranty you should be fine. If there is no error code try to connect the machine and charge the battery this way. Some batteries take some time to load and does not charge when in use, even if connected to an adapter. *** EDIT *** Ok, if you're not getting an error code, then turn off the machine and try to load it that way. If there is no charge could be a problem with the door or the battery itself. Again, if the machine is under warranty this should be fixed at no cost to you. I assume that the charger is fine since you said you used on another machine. Moreover, you have to physically remove the battery to check the error code. It can not be done by checking the settings.
