Dell Xps Clicking Noise

Why does my laptop making clicking noises?

I have a Dell XPS M140 laptop running home XP. Just recently he continues to make a clicking noise as when I click on a tab with the mouse on the computer. This only happens when you click on the Internet and is very annoying. Please help!
