What laptop should I get? I need a PC because I already have a mac.?
I want to spend less than $ 1300. Specs: 250GB HD for at least 4 GB of Ram 2.4 GHz 15''tela LED DVD recorder, if possible, at least 3 hi-speed USB ports speakers'm not worried IN BLU-RAY I looked at Sony Vaio series FW, but I heard battery is a problem with most Vaios. Dell XPS looks tempting, I hate the customer service they have. If there are other models let me know … I have a MacBook. I need a PC. I do a lot of development and programming …. Not all the ports on the Mac or parallel is easy on the MAC. I tried and just about every trick to run Windows on a Mac and do the job well done.
$ 1300 is way too much to spend on 2 laptop! I suggest you trade it to Hunt for laptop ~ $ 500 in slickdeals.net or techbargains.com All 15.3/15.4 "PCs have 3 + USBs. 250GB, DVD + RW are also more or less normal. I suggest HP / Compaq or IBM / Lenovo Thinkpad. Beter to stay away from Dell, unless you are prepared for bad / no support … To get 4GB of RAM you may need to buy Intel Core 2 Duo CPU (may be a little more than U.S. $ 500). In any case, it may not be nesessary to hunt 4GRAM: You can install more if you really need. You may be OK with 2GB.
