How do I install a hard drive WD1200JB on a Dell XPS 410 desktop?

I'm trying to install this unit WD1200JB hard to replace broken one that came with the computer and I'm putting it in the drive disk (the manual says I can install a hard drive there and also fits perfectly), not the usual hard drive bays, as the power connector that connects to this type of hard drive can not reach the drive bays disk at the bottom of the case. I'm pretty inept when it comes to types of hardware and connectors so that I may need some help with the kind of jumper setting. Please help! Crap I just found out that it is an IDE hard drive and need a serial cable. The serial cable I see only connects to a USB hub built into the front of the case. Lemme clarify, I know how to actually place the hard disk bay, I just need to know how to install the serial cable that the only thing I see is already connected to a USB hub.

The jumper setting should be fine when you have the HD is SATA or IDE as well, you'll have to get more SATA or IDE cable / broadband. But try changing the peripheral power around.
