Speakers not working after helping the team installed the new hard drive?
Geek squad new hard drive installed yesterday for my laptop (Dell XPS 1330) I took it back in tonight, when the sound didn't work. they said that all the drivers there that they could see and not knew what was wrong. diagnostic test say that they are fully operational. they connected headphones and they work but the speakers do not regulate. What should I do to correct the speakers? Geek Squad doesn't know.
you may have to reinstall the drivers for the sound card .. if you do not know .. look for the sound card and go to the site if its on the motherboard .. .. go to marks computer site I hope this helps
