Dell Xps Dvd Driver

HELP ME PLEASE !!!!!!!?

Okay I have a Dell XPS / Inspiron and I'm having problems with the music cd's ready. He can read Data CDs and games and dvds but not cd music. What can I do to fix this problem? I've downloaded drivers from Dell, but I'm sure I can make a law it is not yet work.It's making noises like he is trying to read the cd when I put one in. It will not play any audio CD. He does not recognize that there is a disk in the drive.
