Dell Xps Fan Failure
XPS One fan failure error message when the computer starts I can still hear the (loud) fan and will not turn?
I had my Dell XPS One by several months. I had some problems, such as restart itself. However last night while I was watching television in the media center I tried to call XPS off. I accidentally put it to sleep, so I used the remote control to take my computer out of hibernation. I used the remote control and press twice, he then returned to hibernation and again. When the XPS restarted I have an error at startup screen failure "of the CPU fan." My fan was really strong and will not turn off when the XPS is running. I know that can not be a fan failure, because the fan is obviously in implementation. I tried using help from Dell and install an updated BIOS, but nothing is helping. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? The computer is not yet a year old yet!
First turn off hibernation. you do not need it. Now, if the error persists, the fans have to be replaced. In the Dell has a Fan give feedback to the council. I may be wrong, but I think the XPS has 2 fans. Maybe only one is burned. Mike
