Power supply / video card questions with my Dell XPS Gen 5?

I currently have an ATI X850 video card 256MB of platinum. I 4GB DDR SDRAM, Dual Pentium 830 (3.0GHz) (this is better than a pentium 4 right?). Anyway, my ATI conflicts with some things that I need to replace it with an Nvidia card. I'm trying to figure out some things and need some help. I have not been able to find my pc power supply. I spoke with 3 replications dell different and do not know. I looked into the PC and elsewhere and I just can not find any labels or anything. Is there any software that can discover this to me? Also, my 5th gen can only have 460 or 650 power supply. So if I have a 460 I could just replace it with the 650? I do see any way to get to the power supply. Does anyone know where I can buy this power supply? Also, I have three pin fan 5 PCI, which seems to be in Fritz. It is held in place by a piece of plastic Dell. Do I need to buy exactly the same or have any choices?

Dell uses proprietary hardware. Then you probably can not just buy any PSU and connect it to your XPS. I bet that the pinning is even different. Your choice is to upgrade to Dell 650 Watt PSU. For fans, as long as you get the right size you can probably replace those easily.
