Well first, it will be great for school ………… as for the games off, the processor is not fast enough. Secondly, you may want to get a 7200 rpm instead of 5400 rpm one. But here's the main thing. Your graphics card. It's a 8600M GT edition. You will not play Age of Conan or crysis well at all, perhaps only in low settings. Not your fault. You need at least a 8800 gt graphics card to play crysis, and the only laptops that they (the alien ware and some other company I've forgotten) are bulky and more than $ 3000. Gaming on a laptop will never be the same level as a desktop. If you are still interested in games of your laptop, look at some older games. Just because your old doesn't mean its not fun = p. I recommend Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed, or a good command and Conquer game. Crysis and Age of Conan are new games that require high end components.
