Dell Xps Format

Many people are still relatively new in working with digital music. When buying a new iPod, they must first learn how to download music to iTunes. This article explains how to take your existing music and put it into iTunes.
For those of you who just bought a new iPod, which is considered one of the best MP3 players, you may be wondering, "Okay, now that I have this great new device, how do I use it?".
Apple has designed their iPods to work exclusively with a program called iTunes. After telling people who need iTunes to work with your iPod, many people shake their heads (thinking it will have to pay more money) and ask, "How can I get free iTunes to my iPod?" It then met with much relief when I tell them that they need not worry because iTunes is free.
Why free iTunes? Well, iTunes is free to download and install because Apple expects you will eventually be buying all their music, albums, and movies from the iTunes store. Thus, they give you a free download and make money on the backend. So, to start placing your music on iTunes, you will need to download and install iTunes from the Apple website.
Once you have iTunes installed, you are ready to be putting your music files into iTunes.
Normally, iTunes users first drop in one of two categories. First, there are those people who have all their music on CD. The second group are people who have a lot of songs already stored in your computer, but need to transfer that music into iTunes.
For the first group, iTunes makes the process very easy. You just need to start iTunes program you just installed, and then put the CD in your computer. iTunes will recognize this CD, and then ask if you would like to copy the music on iTunes. If you answered yes, the program begins to copy the music CD into your computer. Also, iTunes has the ability to automatically dial your CDs and download appropriate information, including album art, which is pretty cool.
If you have a lot of CDs to import, this can be a very consuming. If you do not want to do it yourself, there is probably a company in your area who will do it for you and charge a nominal fee.
The second group of which you already have music on your computer. It is probably stored in MP3 or some kind of Windows Media format. Fortunately, iTunes now has the ability to import virtually any music format. To import music to iTunes, just click on the File menu and then choose "Add Folder to Library. "This will prompt you to locate the folder where your music is today. If you are unsure about this, you can use the search function on your computer to browse all your music files.
In short, when you buy a new iPod, you need install and put all your music on iTunes. This is done either by inserting your CDs into your computer and allowing iTunes to convert them manually or telling iTunes where your music files are on your computer to import them to iTunes. Note that this will not create a copy of your music. Instead it simply tells iTunes library, where his music is so you can locate it correctly.
