Help me choose the right notebook?

It certainly depends on what you need for notebok. But I'm having a hard time deciding which of these notebooks I should get. Macbook Pro and Dell XPS M 1710. Both laptops are expensive, but both are unique. People say that the Mac does not play well in comparison to PC, and PC is vulnerable to viruses in relation to the MAC. Light: I need a computer that is light. Mac wins in this category … But it Lacks card reader media and some other ports, just 90 days technical support toll-free …. If I were to choose I chose the Dell without hesitation. At some point you may have to have something compatible a PC to make a report or give a presentaion. Fewer problems with Dell. It is also much more cost effective to upgrade Dell
