Dell Xps Inverter

I have a Dell XPS M140 laptop and the screen is weak. I replaced the converter without solving?

issue. I can not find the switch to close cover. The screen will show the splash well, then the image is faint. I can connect an external monitor and I can say that there is nothing wrong with my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
