Dell Xps Laptop Bag

Laptop fell! The screen is all mad .. (mulitiple lines and squished screen desktop) … HELP!?

My laptop was working well for few days ago, my husband took it to work with him, and he fell from 2 meters in an unpadded laptop bag at the airport .. He then started on the plane and everything was fine. After he came home, and 2 days later, I'll get it … and A.), took a long time to boot …. and then when he came to the desktop .. the screen is all crazy … there are like 3 or 4 screens squished all showing the same desktop .. (as duplicates ..) and all source .. all .. is unreadable … I can go in all programs .. but the font is so small .. squished and you can not read anything … I tried to restart and try to make diagnoses …. but will not let you the command or DOS mode … it wont respond to any of the F keys …. My computer is a Dell XPS. .. I did not try to help … . I was wondering if something more could cause this .. like maybe a virues caused by a porn site or something .. my husband doesn't always go to the local smart ….

Its not a virus lol. Sounds to me like you have a faulty laptop. Perhaps the fall broke one part of the motherboard or video card. You can hear anything when you shake it? May want also try going to the Dell website and download the latest graphics driver. First uninstall the old one, then install the new. But I do not really seem to be broken as inside. Maybe have a few screws from the back and see if you see any damaged or loose components. If your under warrenty just get Dell to fix it. I hope this helps.
