Why can not I use the scanner wirelessly with my laptop?
Hi there, I have a belkin all in one wireless printing and scanning adapter, is connected via a Netgear wireless router. My printer / scanner is the brother dcp110 and all the software is installed on both machines at 2x laptops and 1x PC in my house. Everything works fine with other devices, except in my laptop Dell XPS M1210. The details are as follows: 1. All devices that use Windows XP (1210 is using pro) 2. When you connect with other computers, you receive 2 notifications sound for the new connection (scanner, printer) 3. With the XPS 1210, when you connect you get 1x new connection then you start to fail or turn off the sound, it means that I can use the printer but not scanner wireless. I have reinstalled everything, but the installation of the scanner will not work. I think there may be a driver problem, poss. a former driver for HP scanner is causing problems, but I'm not tense this setting. Any help is appreciated, its doing my head in.
