Dell Xps M1210 Laptop Battery

Should I buy a dedicated graphics card.?

I'm about to buy a Dell XPS M1210 and I would appreciate your opinion on whether I should stay with the Intel Integrated GMA 950 or spend $ 80 on the NVidia GeForce 7400 TurboCache. I just want to be playing The Sims 2, SimCity 4, Neverwinter Nights and perhaps BGII. I heard that Nvidia can make your battery life up to an hour shorter and warmer makes the laptop. Please let me know if the best graphics that are worth the cost and duration battery.

Definitely get a dedicated. Integrated graphics are terrible for games and stuff. I also think that with the dedicated computer runs faster. If you have a good fan and not overclock the card, it will be hot. I'm not sure about the battery power, but if you are at home and sit somewhere that you can load / use the power outlet, it makes sense to charge anyway.
