Dell Xps M1210 Memory Upgrade
Dell XPS M1210 memory?
I have a Dell XPS M1210 with an Intel 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 with Windows Vista Home Premium. Does upgrading from 2 GB of RAM to 4 GB of RAM make much difference in terms of speed and performance, or is best left the way it is? Thanks for the quick response. Can you recommend a brand of RAM and can put to the best RAM with better speed. So I would buy a stick, in essence, 1 gig and a piece stick 2 gig? or since there are two 1 gig sticks installed now, I just buy a stick and 2 show the installation next to one of my existing?
while the system operational and motherboard recognizes the amount of memory you want to upgrade, he almost always do well. so yes it will help. while the operating system and motherboard will support the amount. the guy above me did the points for 3 to 4 that did not make a big difference, but this may be due to the OS, Win XP 32 bit will only register 3.5 i believe
