Problems with my phone on my laptop ….?

When I goto connect to a connection through my built in wireless card, I get a message error that says: "The selected network is a network of access points. Your wireless connection is currently configured not to connect to access point networks." Never done it before and give me instructions on how to fix it, but the instructions I left as well as the Microsoft instructions normally. There is an easy fix for this. I already downloaded the latest drivers from Dell. My laptop is a Dell XPS M140. Any information would be helpful! Thank you! So I followed the instructions but there was no option on the Advanced tab, which says "any available network" Holyhell Hey … I found it! It was very close, where you said it was. This fixed my problem! Thanks for the info! You got me what I needed! After that I can choose best answer, it's all you bro!

Hopefully that controls the Windows wifi and not some third-party utility. If so try this, go to Control Panel go to Network Connections Find your connection wireless network, right, and hit Properties Click the Wireless Networks tab Click the Advanced button at the bottom Make sure "Any available network" is selected and not computer to computer networks only
