Dell Xps M1530 Battery Charger
I have a Dell XPS M1530 and my new battery will not charge.?
Initially I thought that the new battery was defective, because it showed how "plugged in not charging". I took it to my friend who has exactly the same laptop and asked to borrow her card and it started charging (even using my laptop). Thad made me think that your charger, but I'm not sure. The anyo know why it would be drawing power from the wall, but not load if your problem of a charger?
The problem is actually the charger if the charger from your friend can charge your laptop. This is a very common problem with the charger Dell – it seems that the microcontroller or wiring in your charger is defective. I'm not entirely sure why the charger can supply power and does not charge but is probably something to do with the design of Dell. Probably, you have to buy another charger online from Dell. Remember not to buy a universal charger as "connected, and not charging "problem will also occur.
