UEFA EURO 2008 on Windows Vista vs Windows XP?

Hi, I have a Dell XPS M1530 laptop running Vista Premium pre-installed operating system. I installed UEFA Euro 2008 and he ran, but ran very slow. Even the menu worked extremely slow. So I formatted my hard drive and Windows XP installed and all drivers for my relative hardware. I installed UEFA EURO 2008 and worked like a charm. I did a ctrl-alt-del when Vista was installed and saw that 1.2GB of my 2GB of RAM was taken up by the sight just sitting idle, while XP used a mere 300MB to 2GB possible. I am suspecting that this may be the reason for The Game run much more slowly in sight (not enough RAM). You agree that this is the case? If not, what do you think would be the problem? Thanks for reading / response to my question. Cheers Dan

Yes, Vista is much more demanding than XP. If you prefer XP, use it. Or, better yet, install XP and Vista on your hard drive and just boot to Windows XP play The Game. What is, what was your question? Oh ya, I think it is Vista Aero. Sounds cool, but impractical. This could be part of the reason. You can update your RAM, if you wanted.
