Dell Xps M1530 Drivers

laptop boots just in normal mode, when the drivers are uninstalled?

I have a Dell XPS M1530, with a graphics card 8600MGT. Every time I load my laptop takes me to the loading screen from Dell, then the loading screen of Windows Vista and, finally, I hear the sound of the login screen of Vista, but not nothing appears! Also, when I log in safe mode, it works well, then when I uninstall the driver for my video card through safely, and restart the laptop, it works! Is my card dead? have the current drivers, they are downloaded directly from the Dell website for my exact laptop! unless for the driver? so is my card dead?
