Dell Xps M1530 Laptop Keyboard
Smartphone / Netbook help …?
Ok I'm thinking of going traveling for about three months and really do not want to take my 15-inch Dell laptop XPS M1530 around with me, due to weight and cost. The only thing is that I check my email daily and will want to transfer photos to show the family as I am passing. I could be in the middle of nowhere, as I'm thinking of working in a camp in America, but it could have WiFi or within the signal. I'll probably get a yes American card for use on a smartphone or my phone today. I have been looking at smart phones and netbooks 8 inches. I want something that can be used to transfer photos from card SD to email / internet and blogs in general and e-mail so it has to have a usable keyboard. problem is I have a budget of £ 200, but much prefer it is cheaper and I'll be afraid I'll lose it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
I would Take a look at the Eee PC 900A, 900HA and 901. They are perfect size for travel. They are the models of 8.9 inches, and ran incredibly well. They have Atheros wireless chipsets that are on top of the line of chipsets wireless. You can also choose between the Linux (Xandros) and Windows XP operating systems.
