Connecting to the Internet with the Dell XPS M1710?

Hi guys, I bought a Dell XPS M1710. I have a Linksys router to use USB to I my current laptop (which I'll give my brother). So I need to connect my Dell laptop to the internet using the Netgear router. But can anyone tell me if this laptop XPS M1710 has a PCMCIA or CardBus slot so one can buy the Netgear card (which are better than the USB) or I have to buy another USB. Thanks for your help, I appreciate it. Thanks Mark Thanks for all your answers, they were very helpful and I've bought the correct card. Thanks a lot guys.

FYI only the older notebooks use a PCMCIA WiFi Adapter, and I get a big lead with & recommend the Belkin Wireless Pre-N Notebook Network Card F5D8010 that I use and keep specifically for our old Dell Latitude D800 Notebook PC BEC after I upgraded this D800 with built-in Intel PROSet Wireless 2915 (802.11 a / b / g) WAN / LAN miniPCI … to give you an example of how is the large reception BELKIN Pre-N F5D8010 is if my 12 year old son is playing Nintendo Wii in our Sony HDTV in Main Floor Family Room located behind our garage, and not getting good built-in WiFi signals to stay connected, and when I insert the BELKIN F5D8010 Pre-N Wi-Fi we take a vacation, it's up and running BEC is a great PCMCIA wireless adapter … But I ran to your dilemma similar to the look of a wireless adapter for secondary backup my 2 new Dell Notebook PCs (Inspiron E1505/6400 and Latitude D620) and strictly bec of its flexibility was versatile with a USB Wireless N Wi-Fi: Linksys W300USB N WiFi <= about $ 80 to $ 90 bec currently more "Wireless N capabilty" that when you connect via USB port and after simple installation, you should be able to choose all all available networks … he would also work and have the same success connecting when using your Notebook PC a Panera Bread, Borders Books or Starbucks, ie any Free Hot Spot Another great choice if you do not want to spend $ 80 – $ 90 you can also buy the earlier version of Wireless-G also is connected to your notebook's USB port PC: WUSB54GS about $ 35 or more you will find listed as Wireless G Linksys USB Network Adapter with "Speedbooster" <= bought for my Notebook 1AT PC Gateway Pentium IV laptop that does NOT have built-in Wi-Fi and later after I sold it and got a great deal on a Sony Vaio desktop Pentiu IV for my daughter 11 years, I had no time to run a LinkSys Switch and hard-wire Cat 5 cable to the room at the top, but bec she hooked it to her SONY VAIO Desktop via USB port and it worked so and the Linksys G with SpeedBooster, just to keep it and we take it over bec the kids play this game Hog memory and Linksys USB can connect Weli enough, then That says a lot for Linksys WiFi products that are owned by Cisco Systems. Again because I believe that the money would go much further with a USB wireless adapter flexibility necessary to move it to any computer (desktop or laptop) with USB ports, bec some of the new notebook PCs do not take the older PCMIA WiFi adapter but has a slot Express elongated. Hope the above information help and good luck!
