Dell Xps Motherboard Problems

My computer is on and off by itself helpppppp all the time?

I have a Dell XPS 400 dual core. It's like I said is connected and off when the power plug is connected and on and off in seconds and repeat it. I would disconnect the power cord and wait 30 min, then turn it back on and would continue this until I pressed the button manually. then it would connect and that's how I'm typing this now. He could off at any time so I have no idea when it will be off. I need help ive uploaded into a computer store and had the motherboard replaced (a gecko baby screened in the short and him) and I believed to be the problem. Replace the motherboard has not done anything to help me.
