You can install an Intel Dual Core 2 on my Dell XPS 400?

Hello! I need an expert with extensive experience to answer this issue. I bought this desktop (DELL XPS 400) two weeks ago .. It came with the card-fueled [Intel 945P, but not so sure] and processor [Intel Pentium D]. You can install an Intel Dual Core 2 on my Dell XPS 400? Thank you! =]

The Dell website says Intel ® Pentium ® 4 Socket-T with Hyper-Threading or Dual-Core support.
