My WiFi is randomly losing your Internet connection more and more?

I have a Dell XPS M1710 with an Intel Pro / Wireless 3945ABG card network and a D-Link DGL-4500 gaming router. When I first start my laptop the internet works fine, but after about an hour it starts automaticly turn it auto randomly every 5 to 10 minutes. I tried to update the firmware of my router and all the drivers my laptop and turn off my security setting in my network. I cleaned my registry to make sure that there was no startup problems. I tried every thing I can not tell if my router is to be disarmed or my laptop is just stupid or something. Please help I'm close enough to the router i get 4 / 5 bars and I have unplugged it and reset it many times, but nothing. The thigh is strange that just randomly started the day out of no where about a month ago.
