Dell Xps No Bootable Devices
What is the best course of action to fix my Dell XPS M1530?
My laptop randomly broke while I was surfing the net a couple of days ago – A strange tone started and it froze so I held the power button and restarted. So – did not load Windows and he says that no device boot. I checked the BIOS and it says there is no hard deteced. My friends all tell me the hard drive is stuck – but I'm not sure what to do next. The site Dell is not clear about the support they offer – I chose the basic package when I bought the laptop but on my other laptop the Dell chat and e-mail does not work, and I extravagant spending an obscene amount of time and money with phones dell … I wonder if there is an easy way that I can contact Dell and return the laptop for repair, if its busted. The laptop is still in its 1 year warranty by the way – with somehting like 70 days left. If anyone has any suggestions for me or has undergone the process themselves, id appreciate it if I could hear your experiances. Thanks
I think you should take it to an authorized dealer and have them replace HD. You will lose something on it, in general, but if you need a new hard drive, then you need a new hard drive. Alternatively you could pull the car, reconnect it and see if that helps? If you can get the laptop to see the disk, then a reinstallation of Windows should do work after that.
