Dell Xps One 2010

Laptop wanted – Desktop Replacement – how?

I'm looking for a desktop replacement and have been looking at the Dell XPS 1710 and XPS2010. The 2010 looks bright, but 1710 seems to have a better graphics card and is cheaper. I wonder what is the best all-round laptop as a desktop replacement? I am open to suggestions on any make / price etc. – which need not be only on the two XPS models. Thanks

If you get a Dell, be sure to buy the extra warranty .. I know that I needed when I bought my .. the thing again every few months.
