XPS M1330 or Blackbook?

Should I change my MacBook Black for 2007 a 3 month old XPS M1330? The XPS has 3 GB of RAM 2.2 GHz 220 HDD. My macbook has 2.16 GHz, 1 GB of RAM 160hdd. OSX is worth the downgrade hardware? Dell also is a reliable company that makes durable, long-term computer?

Tests XPS and better performance of the MacBook then. Dell is closer to the consumer and Sony best in the business.
