You want to choose better RAM. You need 800mhz RAM to get the most out of Q6600. Otherwise, its fine. You really can not do much better, there are only a handful of CPUs and graphics cards to be implemented by a little lower, the better. The best of the world, the QX9770 and a pair of 8800GTX was only something like 15% better for $ 2500.
