My friend has a Dell XPS 400 Desktop. He lost the disks that came with your computer and your computer has a virus and not will start to not start in safe mode. He asked me to help you and I, I'm a little confused about what to do. What should he do? (Oh ya btw the virus arrived before April to handle conficker isn't hte great thing c)
If all else fails, and he wants to perform a clean installation, it can download the boot disk from here. Simply save the file to disk when downloading.
