What's wrong with my computer?

It is a Dell XPS M1530, and I use Windows Vista. He is free of viruses, I know because I use Windows Live One Care alerting me to a second virus reaches my computer, and it checks every night. For some reason, whenever I'm running several programs, listening tell iTunes to play Tetris online, and has a few other sites open, the computer just shuts down, the monitor goes black. So soon after I hold the button off to turn it on again, he eats about 2 seconds than just off. If I wait about 5 minutes, I can retrieve it and run only to have to make same thing later. I have noticed that the bottom of my laptop gets extremely hot, so I wonder if this has something to do with the fan? How can I get this fixed, one know? Thanks a ton:]

+ It does sound like a problem yet. If under warranty, contact Dell. If not, you should not try to continue using the laptop, because it will eventually fry the system board and possibly damage the hard disk.
