Dell Xps Shuts Off

If you are having problems with the computer turned off suddenly, while you are using, there are several reasons that can do that. It could be a problem software, your computer may have a virus, or you could have a problem of development of their hardware. Maybe your mother or other internal device is failing. Sometimes, however, the "correction" can be something very simple.

Very recently I had a computer for repair, the guy said is the PC kept crashing suddenly while he was on the internet. It would suddenly just turn off spontaneously, without apparent reason. It happened more often when he was on-line but sometimes occurred when he was off-line.

I had this problem many times before and usually is a software problem. A program recently installed or sometimes an update to a program already installed. The last time he turned out to be the latest update to Flash Player that was causing the computer to crash. This was uninstalled and then re-installed again, it solved the problem. Most of the time, turns out to be software, software downloaded normally. Try to determine when the problem started and use System Restore to turn your computer back in time to a date before the problem started. If that fails, then uninstall any programs or software, including downloads, which you recently installed.

After trying everything on this Computer Guys however, the problem still was there. Then, the next step is to check for viruses. I did a full system scan with your anti-virus and anti-spyware and not found nothing. I tried again with my own Security Suite run directly from the bootable CD, did not find anything new.

So now I'm thinking, this will be hardware, and expensive for my client. The most common cause of sudden death low hardware closed, is memory. This could be the mother or a failure of the module memory. Fortunately, a very useful tool for free memory tests, the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool, is available from Microsoft. This tool tests the RAM on your computer for errors. If you download this free tool, also download and read the memory Diagnostic Users Guide.

Basically, after downloading the tool, you copy the files to a CD. You then boot the computer from the CD and the 'tools' will Windows Memory Diagnostic and report any errors. Rapid tests can last several minutes or prolonged tests must be left to run overnight. Experience If you are confident and have to work inside the computer case, and know the risks of static electricity and the like, then the first step recommended is to replace your memory modules.

As it landed, flick back levers lock and remove all your memory modules. If you have more than one, make sure to come back in exactly the same slot it came out. Once they are out, remove the dust from the slots on the motherboard, a small soft brush cleaner is ideal for this. Then, replace your memory modules and close the locking levers. You'll probably be thinking, as I used to, "Oh yeah, as if it will make a difference "
Studies have shown that fixes the problem in 25% of such cases.

And I am pleased to report that this procedure simple and cheap indeed correct that computer Guys.
