Dell XPS M1330 SIM CARD SLOT?

I have a Dell XPS M1330. I took the battery for the first time to clean it and was surprised to find a SLOT. prima facie and seemed like one of those slots in a SIM CARD phone. I went to Dell support and they said it was some kind of broadband mini card. is not. I put my simcard in it and fit perfectly. I just want to know what is for the slot. you can help

Yes, it is a SIM card slot, your bottom compartment battery. Not sure if there is a software for it, but I think you can backup your contacts in the sim and you can even send sms! check it manaul for your model from the link below
