Wild Alaska Pollock is considered one of the most abundant fish abundant in the seas today. Pollock is used in everything from ersatz seafood called surimi, a fillet of fish and fish and chips. For this recipe Pollock roast, you need bread crumbs, salt, pepper, grated nutmeg, celery salt, egg whites, cream and about a pound of fresh, wild Alaska Pollock. Chop the fish finely. Cook the bread in a pot in cream until it becomes a smooth paste. Add the Pollock and the rest of the seasonings. Beat the egg whites and add to the mix fish. Put everything in a baking pan and bake for 45 minutes to an hour.

This next recipe wild Alaska Pollock combines fresh vegetables to make a stew easy. You will need to Pollock, chopped carrot, two chopped potatoes, one onion, a can of evaporated milk, a stick of butter, cornstarch and salt. Boil four cups of water, salt and Pollock for 20 minutes. Take Pollock out and let it cool. Add the vegetables to the water and cook until soft. Break the fish into pieces and add it again water. Add the evaporated milk, butter and corn. Stir well and heat. Serve with warm bread or crackers.
