HP Pavilion Elite e9220 or Studio Dell XPS SX8000?

I can not decide between an HP Pavilion Elite e9220 and a Dell Studio XPS SX8000. In terms of upgrade-ability, one of these brands would be better? And what is the best overall? I would use it mainly for games (The Sims 3, MMORPGs, etc.) and watch DVD's, etc.
