Dell Xps T500 Memory

How do I find out what memory cards and hard drives can buy online for my Dell Dimension XPS T500?

I would shoot a video with my camera, (fire dance performances) and then edit them, and then cut DVD's for promotions. I am an artist fire, and we need these. But I have a slow computer (QuickTime vid are real unstable) and do not know what I can buy to make this work. If you can tell me to find where to go, or exactly what will work with my computer. I've been to electronics stores and asked all I did was try to sell me a new computer.
