Can the Dell XPS M1530 deal with games?

Wondering if the XPS M1530 (Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2 GHz, 4 GB DDR2 SDRAM, 128MB GeForce 8400M GS video card) can handle games like Half Life 2, COD 5, or Left 4 Dead in settings of minimal or moderate in sight? It would also be a XPS M1730 with a Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and a Dual GeForce 8700M GT 512MB2 GDDR3 video card SLI be better for these games? Also, what is your general opinion of laptops running? Thanks in advance.

M1530: The processor speed may be faster, DDR3 RAM and better video card. I think the processor and RAM will work for these games, but the video card probably not. If this happens, it will be very low quality. You should probably use something more like a 8800GT for games, and a 9400GT would be good too. The M1730 will handle those games very well, though, with the exception of a little underclocked CPU, but that is for reasons of heat. you not have problems anyway, Core 2 Duo 2.1Ghz is enough, and other specifications are not enough. generally more current computers perform well, 're not playing anything taxing on a computer, unless you're in the game or on a strict budget, and so for daily operations, either of the comps do well.
