What is the best laptop for graphic design?
I'm after a laptop with certain specifications: 1. I do not like heavy laptops thick, thin and light preferrable 2. I need a laptop that is reliable 3. I'll be carrying the Adobe Creative Suite for it – so will need something that will run and be fast, while I am using Adobe CS, for example I have a handful of large high-resolution image files open in photoshop 4. I need something that will perform with several applications open and running at the same time, playing music for example, with Internet Explorer 5 pages open, the implementation Messenger, MS Word running I love Sony, but one of my nerd friends recommended a Mac or a Dell if I want to spend that kind of money. I'm not very interested on Macs, and I've read reviews online of Sony VAIO notebooks and Dell XPS, but just made me even more confused. help! HP laptop will be for personal use, more work graphic design – However, the graphic design is only occasional as I do most of it at work.
If I were you I would not consider anything but a MacBook Pro there a reason that Macs are the industry standard for graphic design. On your checklist, MacBook Pros are under an inch thick and very light. They are extremely reliable, and customer service from Apple is excellent. Finally, are extremely powerful, they have huge hard drives, in so far as laptops go, so they are perfect for storing large photos, they have lots of RAM, fast processors, and very powerful graphics cards. They can easily work with iTunes, five windows open Safari, iChat and MS Word and still have the resources to run Photoshop. Please see the link below for more information.
