Dell Xps Turn Off Lights
My keyboard is harming my computer?
This happens once in a while, but it was never a big problem so far. When I start my computer (Dell XPS 410), and get the login screen, I try to put in my password, but the keyboard is not responding. I tried to restart, turn the computer on and off, on and off USB connection for the keyboard, but still will not respond. It's like it's just frozen. When this used to happen in the past, would be frozen until I want to disconnect and reconnect it, or if I wait a minute or so, he will suddenly come to life, but it just does not do anything but keep the Scroll Lock frozen light. I forgot to mention the keyboard is simply the generic Dell keyboard that came with the computer when I bought it.
Go buy / borrow another keyboard to test. 2 If the keyboard works, replace the original.
