Dell Xps Video Card Problem

Anyone with problems with Lost Planet for PC?

I can not make the program work, no matter what I do. I can play it for about 30 seconds, and then I have to completely turn off my computer and restart it. For some unknown reason, it hangs. I've done updates avalible, but that does not make any difference. I am running a Dell XPS 600 with an nVidia G-Force 8800 GTS video card. I am so angry with the way this place game that I am considering sending it to Capcom with a letter telling them to keep it. Does anyone have any better advice?

Allow me guess, Windows Vista? Lost Planet DX = 9.0c game, the Windows Vista Operating System DX = 10, course will not be unless you have problems DX 9, with DX 10, which most new computer companies only worry about installing DX 10 and do not realize that there are people out there who have no idea wtf is DirectX and they complain because the material will not run.
