What is better as a complete system of the game?

Im thinking eather getting this msi: http://www.msimobile.com/level3_productpage.aspx?cid=9&id=54 With a 2.4 GHz proc and a 9800M GS 1GB DDR3 VRAM, or a battalion of 101 mf 9: http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/configurator.aspx?mid=403 header # With a proc 2.93 GHz and a 9600M GT 512MB DDR2. I'm going to play counter strike source, grid and half life. What is better a higher frequency with proc or one with a better graphics card. I want good performance overall, what do you think I should go with it. also if you have any other suggestions post them. My maximum amount you pay is im £ 1,450. 1 GB VRAM drr3 is for the graphics card is not Windows, the computer itslef has 4GB of DDR2 memory. I also need a laptop for school and I can not exacataly lug around a desktop PC with me from one class to another.

The first one. 1GB of RAM on a first evil is enough to load Windows though. You will need to update it immediately. The graphics card will make more difference than the processor. Seriously but you will be paying a lot of money by not have a great computer game. If you have a desktop would probably be twice as good in games like the laptops with the same price.
